Growing brands in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has one of the youngest, most mobile-first populations in the region, and Vision 2030 has opened up entertainment, tourism, retail and hospitality at remarkable speed. Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and X are part of daily life, and Arabic-first content consistently feels more native than translated English ads. Brands entering or scaling in the Kingdom need creative volume, cultural sensitivity and creators who are properly licensed.

Digital Berries is a remote team based in India, working in your time zone — Arabia Standard Time is 2.5 hours behind IST, so most of your working day is our working day. We have no office in Riyadh or Jeddah; instead we run creator and influencer campaigns, always-on social and Snap, Meta, TikTok and Google ads priced in SAR, with Arabic copy written or reviewed by native speakers. For brands that need a steady stream of short-form assets, our UGC production keeps testing pipelines full.

Agencies serving Saudi clients can also work with us as a delivery partner — see our agency track or talk to us.

What works in Saudi Arabia

01

Snapchat is mainstream

The Kingdom is one of Snapchat’s strongest markets, so Snap Ads and creator content on Snapchat belong in the core media plan, not as an afterthought.

02

Dialect matters

Saudi and Gulf dialect in voiceovers and captions feels local and conversational, while formal Modern Standard Arabic can read like a press release on social.

03

A distinct calendar

The weekend falls on Friday and Saturday, and Ramadan, Eid, Founding Day, Saudi National Day and major entertainment seasons create sharp spikes in attention and spend.

04

Vision 2030 sectors are growing

Tourism, entertainment, sport, F&B and retail are expanding quickly, which means new categories, new competitors and real room for brands that move early.

Time zone

AST (UTC+3) — 2.5 hours behind IST, so your mornings and our afternoons overlap comfortably.

Compliance

Saudi Arabia’s General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) requires influencers who publish paid advertising to hold a “Mawthooq” licence, and ads must respect local cultural and content standards. We verify creator licences before contracting and keep sponsored content clearly identified as advertising.

Industries we support

Retail & e-commerce · Entertainment & events · Hospitality & tourism · Restaurants & F&B · Beauty & fragrance · Real estate

Saudi Arabia FAQs

Do you have an office in Saudi Arabia?

No. We are a single studio in Mumbai working remotely with Saudi brands in Arabia Standard Time. Planning, reporting and approvals happen over video calls, WhatsApp and shared dashboards. Being remote keeps costs lean, and for on-ground content we brief and manage licensed creators based in the Kingdom.

Do your influencers have a Mawthooq licence?

For any paid influencer activity in Saudi Arabia we only contract creators who hold a valid Mawthooq licence, and we check it before contracts are signed. We also make sure sponsored posts are disclosed as advertising and that scripts respect local cultural norms before they are approved.

Can you run Snapchat and TikTok ads?

Yes. We plan and manage Snap Ads, TikTok and Meta campaigns alongside Google Search, with Arabic-first creative built for vertical video. We test hooks and formats in small budgets first, then move spend towards the platforms and audiences that actually deliver results for your category.
